Polaroid of the Week: Breathtaking Seattle Night Skyline from Kerry Park
What an incredible week in Seattle! The sun made more appearances than anticipated—far more than the prior week—and I seized every chance to explore the city. I checked off key spots from my Seattle bucket list: a leisurely walk through Olympic Sculpture Park and along Alki Beach, a visit to the Ballard Locks, and a short hike in Discovery Park. The favorable weather led me to several parks, including Lake Union Park, Seward Park, Freeway Park, and Volunteer Park.
I ventured into various neighborhoods and, with my friend Katie in town, savored delicious meals and craft beers. The dry spell even allowed a visit to Fremont's Sunday market, followed by Golden Gardens—a surprising beach gem that became one of my top discoveries. Seattle summers sound unbeatable after reading about them; I must return to experience crowded beaches, paddleboarding, sailing, and outdoor movies. The week's highlight? Capturing this Polaroid at Kerry Park, famed for its panoramic downtown views, on Katie's final night.
With one full week left in Seattle, plenty of must-see spots remain—fingers crossed for continued great weather!
