Polaroid of the Week: Unforgettable Pumpkin Patch Adventure in Buckley, Washington

Polaroid of the Week: Unforgettable Pumpkin Patch Adventure in Buckley, WashingtonOctober held a special place in my heart this year. After several U.S. autumns without experiencing one, I finally visited my first pumpkin patch, thanks to friends Tawny and Chris. This quintessential fall activity is now checked off my bucket list!

The Buckley, Washington patch exceeded expectations. Beyond the vast field of vibrant orange pumpkins in every shape and size, it offered a corn maze, pig races, tractor-pulled hay rides, pony rides, a goat walk, and playful ducks. I especially enjoyed navigating the maze with fun quizzes—a reminder to brush up on American history!

Next, we selected perfect pumpkins. While I skipped carving this year, Tawny and Chris took home fresh ones. We capped the day with farm-fresh roasted corn and Legendary Doughnuts for dessert.

My only regret? Missing the 35-minute 'haunted woods' quest through the corn—perfect for a horror fan like me. It’s the ideal reason to return soon.

Happy Halloween, everyone!

  • Polaroid of the Week: Breathtaking Sunset at Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn

One of the things I love most about New York City is its endless array of discoveries. I maintain a constantly growing Google Drive list of must-visit spots—from beaches and parks to hidden plazas, unexplored neighborhoods, top restaurants, cozy coffee shops, pizza joints, art galleries, and bars. Despite crossing off items regularly, the list only expands. During my recent NYC visit, I checked off several while adding even more, including a long-awaited trip to photograph the iconic Green-Woo

  • Polaroid of the Week: Stunning Street Art in Bushwick, Brooklyn

When I arrived in New York last week, locals joked that I had brought summer with me. The spring had been unusually cold and rainy until my weekend arrival—a reassurance for skipping most of May in the city for four weeks in Austin (yes, my FOMO is real, and that decision wasnt easy!). I even considered extending my Austin stay—I loved it that much—but unforeseen circumstances shifted my plans (details soon). With just eight days in my adopted home, I maximized every moment: savoring a classic N

  • Polaroid of the Week: Immersing in Oktoberfest s Joy in Munich, Germany

After returning to Germany, I headed straight to Munichs Oktoberfest—my first in five years and seventh overall. As a dedicated fan, I was thrilled to introduce a friend from New York to Bavarian beer culture: massive steins of robust wheat beer paired perfectly with pretzels. We joined one of my closest high school friends at her reserved table with her girlfriends. Securing a reservation is like winning the lottery, so we embraced the tradition in style—Lederhosen for men and dirndl dresses fo
