Polaroid of the Week: Cheeky Squirrels Stir Up Fun in Prospect Park, Brooklyn

Polaroid of the Week: Cheeky Squirrels Stir Up Fun in Prospect Park, BrooklynYou might wonder about a squirrel as the star—but my week's highlights truly featured squirrels, cats, and dogs. After returning from Buffalo, I sought rest in Prospect Park, where playful squirrels quickly joined me, eyeing my dried fruits and nuts. Reminiscent of the bold ones in London that climbed my legs for peanuts, they turned a relaxed afternoon into an engaging photo session. As a longtime squirrel enthusiast from my London park days—where I always carried peanuts for them—I've embraced these delightful encounters.

Next on my adorable animal adventures: returning to Miss J, a beloved cat I've housesat three times in Brooklyn. She's my top pet-sitting favorite this summer, though upcoming bookings mean I can't return soon. My pet-sitting services have gained traction, filling my New York schedule (and beyond), leading me to decline two housesits. Currently, I'm enjoying the company of the cuddliest schnoodle (schnauzer-poodle mix) I've met, in a stunning apartment with a pro-level kitchen that inspired my first dinner party in over a year.

Life in New York is thriving! 😊

The intruder likely fled interrupted. Ill detail this in my monthly roundup, but rest assured, it didnt overshadow the trip. This week was otherwise exceptional. I tre
