Polaroid of the Week: Capturing Timeless Moments on the Brooklyn Bridge
This past week unfolded in blissful tranquility as I settled into life with my two temporary dogs—adorable companions I've fallen deeply for. I'm already dreading our farewell! My routine now features daily park runs, savoring the New York Times over coffee before diving into work, and whipping up nourishing lunches. Yet, I know I need fresh air and movement daily—whether it's a waterfront sunset stroll, crossing the iconic Brooklyn Bridge, or wandering the park. With vibrant blue skies and endless sunshine, New York's weather has been perfect for running, walking, and cycling around the city.
After months of relentless travel and constant company, this solo time feels restorative. I've caught up on work while reflecting on the past year as it winds down. Socializing continues daily—dinners, drinks, movie nights, and friend catch-ups—but at a gentler pace. I've even revived my new Kindle for immersive reading, which is pure joy. Now, all I need are homemade Christmas cookies for a lazy Sunday with a bubble bath and a film!
