Polaroid of the Week: Mesmerizing Performance Art on Governors Island, New York

Polaroid of the Week: Mesmerizing Performance Art on Governors Island, New YorkAfter two months in Europe, I'm thrilled to be back in New York—the world's greatest city. It felt like no time had passed as I dove right back into the vibrant energy, kicking off August with a visit to Governors Island.

What started as a plan for a relaxed beach afternoon turned into an unforgettable entertainment experience. The beach bar was closed, but we stumbled upon a captivating show by the Polish theater group PEREGRINUS. Featuring dynamic acting, dance from phenomenal performers, and even audience participation (including me!), the performance unfolded against the stunning Manhattan skyline—a perfect backdrop that heightened our excitement for the upcoming NYC Fringe Festival.

I'm eager to savor all the summer highlights that make NYC unbeatable: open-air movies, food markets, street fairs, beach days, rooftop cocktails, and park picnics. Stay tuned for more adventures—and if you're in NYC this month, drop me a line!

Brooklyn feels like my favorite place on earth. Currently, Im cat-sitting in Prospect Heights, where I cared for a different cat three times last year. This neighborhood holds a special place in my heart—stepping into my favorite local coffee shop fel

Chasing eternal summer, wed almost forgotten springs sensory delights, especially its scen
