Polaroid of the Week: A Serene Stroll on NYC's High Line

Polaroid of the Week: A Serene Stroll on NYC s High LineAs I touch down in Tel Aviv for a four-week adventure in Israel, bidding farewell to New York stirs bittersweet emotions. These four months reignited my passion for the city—a place where I healed a broken heart during an unforgettable summer. I departed only because my visa expired, leaving a piece of my heart behind.

I wrapped up my NYC stay in style with a housesitting stint in a luxurious Chelsea apartment, mere steps from the High Line. Earlier summer visits were crowded, but proximity allowed peaceful explorations in early mornings and late evenings. I returned five times that week alone!

The High Line, a transformed elevated freight railroad, opened just five years ago and swiftly became one of New York City's top parks. Currently spanning one mile through the Meatpacking District and Chelsea, an extension is set to debut later this month. Each walk reveals fresh delights—street art, striking architecture, vibrant flowers, photoshoots—or simply relax on sun loungers for people-watching or reading.

New York City, I can't wait to return... Thank you for the magical summer!

The intruder likely fled interrupted. Ill detail this in my monthly roundup, but rest assured, it didnt overshadow the trip. This week was otherwise exceptional. I tre

  • Polaroid of the Week: Historic Chinatown in San Francisco

San Franciscos Chinatown is one of the largest outside Asia. The Sing Chong Building (shown in the photo) was among the first structures rebuilt after the devastating 1906 earthquake.

  • Polaroid of the Week: Breathtaking Beach Sunset in Montañita, Ecuador

After a week in the hot, humid confines of Guayaquil, I eagerly headed to the coast for refreshing ocean breezes. Montañita, a vibrant village on Ecuadors Santa Elena Peninsula along the Pacific Coast, is renowned as the countrys premier surf destination. Upon arrival, I discovered its also a major party hub attracting revelers from across South America—think Ibizas energy, but with pulsating music from beachfront discos rather than massive clubs. However, I wasnt in the party mood. Safety co
