Polaroid of the Week: Dinner Plates Adorning Iglesia Santa Lucía s Roofs in Suchitoto, El Salvador

We recently spent a delightful weekend in the charming colonial town of Suchitoto, northern El Salvador. Its crown jewel is Iglesia Santa Lucía, a magnificent white church boasting a stunning façade with six Ionic columns and three towers.

We returned the next day for a closer look—the roofs are indeed covered in colorful dinner plates, donated by a bride married there as a heartfelt token of appreciation.
