Tacámbaro, Michoacán: The Enchanting Pueblo Mágico

The Pueblo Mágico de Tacámbaro (Magical Town of Tacámbaro) is located only 55 kilometers (34 miles) from Pátzcuaro in Michoacán; it boasts perfect temperatures almost all year round thanks to its privileged location, ideal for planting avocados, blackberries, and sugar cane. Also known as El Balcón de Tierra Caliente (The Balcony of the Hot Land), Tacámbaro is surrounded by mountains and waterfalls of impressive falls such as Arroyo Frio.

 

Let your feet guide you through its narrow streets that seem to have been frozen in time. Discover the history that emanates from the facades of their white houses, their old buildings and small squares. The gardens of Plazuela del Santo Niño will guide you directly to the beautiful Cathedral of San Jerónimo.
