Gozalandia Waterfalls: San Sebastián s Stunning Paradise in Puerto Rico

Discover a slice of paradise at Gozalandia, just 3 miles (4.8 km) north of San Sebastián, Puerto Rico. Dramatic cascades tumble into inviting plunge pools, backed by lush steep forests—a serene spot to relax and soak in the tranquility for hours.

Two main waterfalls await: carefully climb behind the lower cascade, or swing from a rope at the upper one for added adventure.

Near the parking area, Sha's restaurant offers refreshing cocktails made with fresh fruits—it's rarely crowded, perfect for a peaceful visit.

How to Get to Gozalandia

Still known by some as La Cascada del Guama, follow Route 111 north from San Sebastián, then turn right onto Route 446 (next to the Total garage). After 0.74 miles (1.4 km), turn right onto Sec Lechuza, cross the bridge, and drive about three more minutes. Look for the large gate and parking sign on the left—$10 parking fee. An 8-minute walk leads to the falls.

Opening Times

On private property, Gozalandia is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Safety First: Think Before Jumping

Avoid jumping from the top of the waterfalls—fatal accidents have been reported here. Prioritize safety and enjoy responsibly.
