Huandacareo: A Serene Thermal Oasis Near Cuitzeo

Since you are in Cuitzeo, a good idea is to take advantage of the proximity to Huandacareo, a town that was part of Cuitzeo until the beginning of the last century but became independent years later.
The place is famous for its thermal water baths, many of which offer lodging and additional services such as skin treatments or spas, ideal for pampering or spending time with a partner.
If you arrive as a family, don't worry because the facilities of almost all its spas have children's areas and plenty of options for children to have fun.
In the municipality you will find the Archaeological Zone of Huandacareo, La Nopalera, which can be an extraordinary visit because you will have met another important Tarasco center that, as with Cuitzeo, is located on the shores of the lake.
To recover your strength after a day of much activity, go to the center of Huandacareo where you can enjoy its exquisite carnitas, a gastronomic tradition!
It will take you 25 minutes to get to Huandacareo from Cuitzeo.
