Raglan Road Celebrates 10 Years of Irish Excellence at Disney Springs

Join Raglan Road’s 10th anniversary celebration at Disney Springs.

In celebration of its decade in Orlando, Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant at Disney Springs (formerly Downtown Disney) invites guests to experience a month‑long celebration of authentic Irish cuisine and spirited entertainment, highlighted by the culinary artistry of James Beard Award‑winning chef Kevin Dundon.

Mighty Festival

From March 13‑17, 2015, the Mighty Festival will showcase traditional Irish music, dance, and festive décor. Guests can enjoy live performances by a lineup of talented bands that bring the spirit of Ireland to Central Florida.

Chef Cooking Demonstration

Chef Dundon opened the celebration with a live cooking demonstration, presenting a four‑course tasting menu that reflects everyday dishes served at the restaurant. The menu featured:

  • Coquilles Saint‑Jacques (scallops in a half shell with pomme purée and Mornay gratin) alongside a duet of tomato soup and champagne‑splashed oysters.
  • Roast Rack of Spring Lamb served with an Irish vegetable consommé and a Pimms Knickerbocker Glory topped with vanilla mousse, cucumber, and melon foam.

Master Chef Competition

As part of the anniversary festivities, Raglan Road launched a Master Chef Cooking Contest inviting amateur chefs to compete for a trip to Ireland. Five finalists will receive an all‑expenses‑paid stay at Kevin Dundon’s Dunbrody Country House Hotel and cooking school in Southwest Ireland. Entries are accepted until April 21, 2015.
