Handpicked Links We Love: June 30, 2012 Edition

Links We Love, a compendium of what we're loving right now. Happy armchair traveling.

Pavia, founder/CEO

The Skinnydipping Report: Apparently, I'm having a naked summer. Exhibit A: I was in Croatia last month. They're obsessed with nude beaches and campgrounds. (I did not partake.) Exhibit B: I was at Grace Bay Club in Turks and Caicos last weekend. The water is calm and especially warm at midnight. (Who wouldn't go skinnydipping?) Neither destination makes the cut of The Skinnydipping Report's 2012 calendar, though Iceland, Texas, and, Uruguay do.

Museo Filangieri has reopened after a 14-year renovation. I love old homes and collections of stuff. Next time I'm in Naples.

Went to Dea Rosa handbag trunk show this week. Stupidly forgot to rob a bank en route. Want everything. Even want to live in look book.

I am Packed: There is something very compelling about seeing the content of peoples' luggage.

This week's wanderlusty Pinterest inspiration? The Walking Drum.

Crystal, creative director

I could get lost in artist Hong Seon Jang's Type City, and urban landscape made entirely from the letters, ligatures, and composing sticks of a letterpress. (Thanks to The Next Web for the link.)

Tour du Monde, a multimedia world tour orchestrated by Dedon, has me doing some serious armchair traveling. You've got to Meet the Masaii.

As for actual traveling, my next stop is Asia. I'm counting down till I arrive Japan's hot springs hotspot Hoshinoya Karuizawa. To pass the time (16,000 minutes, give or take a few), I'm reading up on onsen etiquette and native floral and fauna. (Okay, and maybe watching a Japanese squrriel video or two.)

Berit, assistant editor

Deux Américains à Paris: The perfect weekend, seen through the eyes of Robert Kolodny and Bennett Elliott. It's set to the catchy tune "Allo Allo" — bet you can't watch without singing along.

I can't get enough of the travel-themed fashion campaigns that are so popular these days. Favorites include Billabong's European road trip, J.Crew's Bali Adventure, and Louis Vuitton's LV Express steam train.
