Conceived and created by Kaneza Schaal and Christopher Myers, “Cartography” is directed by Schaal, with writing and design by Myers. The production is presented by Arktype / Thomas O. Kriegsmann.
Tickets are priced at $38 for adults, $15 for University Park students, and $28 for those 18 and younger. Purchase online at cpa.psu.edu, by phone at 814-863-0255, or in person at Eisenhower Auditorium box office (noon-4 p.m. weekdays). Penn State student pricing is supported by a grant from the University Park Student Fee Board.
This thought-provoking performance encourages audiences to reflect on origin stories, migration's universal themes, and the metaphorical maps of our dynamic world. Featuring a cast of six young actors, it blends film, cell phones, and other media to mirror our tech-infused lives.
“Cartography” is part of “The Reflection Project,” funded by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. This presentation is supported by the ArtsConnect program of Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation with National Endowment for the Arts funding, and the Glenn and Nancy Gamble Endowment.
