Grande Dunes Unveils Exciting 2019 Marina Park Events Lineup in Myrtle Beach
Myrtle Beach, SC – March 15, 2019 – Grande Dunes is thrilled to announce the 2019 Marina Park events lineup. This vibrant outdoor music and event lawn sits along the Intracoastal Waterway, right next to the Grande Dunes Marina in Myrtle Beach, SC. The season kicks off on Saturday, April 6, with the Long Bay Symphony Pops Concert from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Celebrating Grande Dunes' 20th anniversary, the symphony will feature beloved tunes from Broadway to Hollywood. On Saturday, May 4, Grande Dunes hosts the Coastal Carolina Sertoma Club and Habitat for Humanity of Horry County for the second annual Derby Day at Marina Park. Dress in your finest Derby outfits and watch the Run for the Roses on a jumbotron by the Waterway. Enjoy live entertainment, food and beverages, games, a silent auction, and more—all included with tickets, on sale now.
The Grande Dunes Summer Movies and Concert Series returns on Tuesday nights in June, July, and August. These free, family-friendly events are open to the public. Movie nights: June 11, July 9, August 6. Concert dates: June 25, July 23, August 20.
The season wraps up with a Long Bay Symphony concert and Oyster Roast on Saturday, September 21, followed by the third annual Ghosts on the Coast Halloween Celebration on Saturday, October 26.
Through the Grande Dunes Gives Back initiative, we partner with local charities at every Marina Park event to boost awareness and collect donations. This year's beneficiaries include: Community Kitchen of Myrtle Beach; Habitat for Humanity; Coastal Carolina Sertoma Club; Family Justice Center; Backpack Buddies and Help4Kids; Hope House; New Directions; Susan G. Komen; The Salvation Army Angel Tree; and The Marine Toys for Tots Program.
