Barefoot Landing Unveils Exciting New Shops and Experiences for the 2019 Season
Barefoot Landing Introduces New Shops, Experiences, and Finger Docks for Complimentary Day Docking
March 27, 2019, North Myrtle Beach, S.C. — Barefoot Landing, the premier experiential retail destination, is welcoming several new shops and attractions just in time for the 2019 season.
Additionally, select existing merchants are relocating to fresh storefronts within this unique waterway shopping, dining, and entertainment hub along the Intracoastal Waterway.
New additions already open or soon to debut include Pearls & Co., Midwest Monograms, Savannah Bee Company, Pick A Pearl, Toy Kingdom, and LuLu’s Mountain of Youth Ropes Course and Beach Arcade. Relocating merchants feature lo-kuhl, now open in Lakeside Village near the carousel; Himalayan Litez, opening soon next to Bully’s Pub & Grill in Harborwalk Village; and Sweet Molly’s, set to open later this spring in Dockside Village beside the amphitheater.
Near Sunglass Hut and Tara Grinna, Pearls & Co. offers exquisite pearl jewelry, gemstones, gold, and silver pieces. Nearby, Midwest Monograms provides custom, weatherproof personalized signs made while you wait—perfect unique gifts. Toy Kingdom, opposite Blueberry’s Grill, stocks toys, games, novelties, dolls, books, and more to delight shoppers of all ages.
In Low Country Village on the north side, discover Savannah Bee Company, born from a passion for beekeeping and gourmet honey, offering the world’s finest raw honey, honeycomb, and luxurious hive-based body care products. Pick A Pearl lets guests select their own pearl from an oyster and customize it into jewelry—an ideal beach souvenir. Next to A Silver Shack, 3D Krystal Photos combines photography with 3D laser crystal engraving for unforgettable keepsakes.
Lucy Buffett’s LuLu’s, which launched last summer, has added the Beach Arcade and Mountain of Youth Ropes Course in Dockside Village for family fun. Sweet Molly’s Creamery is also moving to a new space here.
Waterway enhancements include gas lights, new railings, and 19 new finger docks available for free day docking year-round.
“Barefoot Landing has undergone a major transformation, capturing the essence of the Carolina coast with a distinctly coastal shopping and dining experience,” said Kim Kelley, marketing manager at Burroughs & Chapin, Barefoot Landing’s parent company. “Our natural beauty, coastal charm, unique boutiques, diverse cuisine, family activities, lush landscaping, and year-round events make it a must-visit destination.”
