Noontunes 2019: Free Lunchtime Concerts Featuring Chattanooga's Top Local Talent
The 2019 Noontunes concert series brings vibrant live music and food trucks to Miller Park every Friday starting September 13. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., enjoy performances hosted by experts who share insights into each artist's background and song choices—details beyond a standard show. Local vendors add to the fun for all attendees.
"Noontunes returns this fall to showcase Chattanooga’s exceptional local music talent and deliver a lively lunchtime experience in Miller Park," says Meagan Shinn, program director at River City Company. "We’re thankful for our community partners supporting this all-local artist series." All events are free, open to the public, live-streamed by TechTown on the Chattanooga Fun Facebook page from the Chattanooga Convention & Visitors Bureau, and broadcast on WUTC.

Carlos Colón and his Tropical Swing Band
Hailing from Puerto Rico, Carlos Colón and his Tropical Swing Band have delivered salsa-inspired shows across Chattanooga for over a decade. Blending tropical rhythms from Latin countries with originals, Carlos leads on conga and percussion, backed by brass, piano, bass, electric guitar, timbales, maracas, bongos, and more for irresistible, dance-ready performances.

Nashville-born and Chattanooga-raised, singer/songwriter Kimmie J. Soul has shared stages with the Nashville Soul Choir, Jah-way, Kirk Franklin, Mandisa, Melinda Doolittle, and TobyMac. She performs with Seaux Chill as “Seaux Glow” and is part of the Black Fridays empowerment group. Her upcoming EP, “Love is Blind,” highlights her rising star power.
