Noontunes 2018: Chattanooga's Premier Weekly Midday Music Series Lineup
Noontunes is Chattanooga's acclaimed weekly midday music series, dedicated to showcasing the city's exceptional local musicians. Now in its third year, the 2018 season moves from the Waterhouse Pavilion to the state-of-the-art stage and expansive lawn at Miller Park.
Concerts run every Wednesday from September 19 to November 28, 2018, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at Miller Park, 928 Market Street, Chattanooga, TN 37402. Admission is free for all.
This series highlights Chattanooga's vibrant and growing music scene, offering visitors and residents alike a delightful opportunity to experience the Scenic City's top local talent. The new Miller Park venue supports food trucks, larger crowds, and enhanced visibility from the EPB Pavilion stage.
Each free public performance is live-streamed, recorded, and later broadcast on WUTC 88.1. A knowledgeable host provides insights into the artists' backgrounds and song choices, enriching the experience beyond a typical concert.
This River City Company program, sponsored by Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union, is supported by partners SoundCorps, Chattanooga Convention & Visitors Bureau, Jazzanooga, WUTC, and River City Sessions.

Dr. B and the Ease
Noontunes launches with Dr. B and the Ease. Bandmates Rico, Brandon, Jeremy, and Noel deliver classic soul music with intricate harmonies, uplifting lyrics, soaring guitar solos, and crisp drums inspired by 80s soul. Formed in 2012, they inspire audiences to embrace the day.

Spinster
Sisters Rosalie, Rachel, and Amelia formed Spinster after discovering their grandfather's accordion. Mastering pop covers on eclectic instruments like mandolin, washboard, glockenspiel, and upright bass, they blend family harmonies with doo-wop, 80s art pop, and 90s boy band rock. Their debut album, including single 'Feet Are Dirty' produced with Summer Dregs, arrives next year.

Karla Felecia Scaife
Karla Felecia Scaife's angelic tone and soulful melisma captivate listeners. A lifelong singer, she's a University of Tennessee at Chattanooga graduate pursuing a Master of Theological Studies at Vanderbilt Divinity School. Stringer's Ridge
Formed on New Year's Eve 2017 at John C. Campbell Folk School, Stringer's Ridge is an eclectic string trio focused on instrumental Celtic and Old Time music with genre-spanning flair. Fiddler Tom Morley, a Chattanooga resident with a storied career in classical, jazz, and country (including a Gold Album with John Anderson), leads alongside his wife Fran on bodhrán and guitarist Bryant Haynes, a GPS teacher delivering rhythmic drive.

MaryLovesJazz features soulful jazz vocalist Mary, an emerging artist preparing a new project. A stage performer as Nettie in The Color Purple, she has graced venues like Bessie Smith Cultural Center, The Camp House, Jazzanooga, Hunter Museum, Miller Plaza, and Nightfall with The Creative Underground's 'Voices'.

Floami Fly
Chattanooga's Floami Fly (pronounced FLO-AH-ME) is a hip-hop artist, songwriter, and performer active since 2010 across the Southeast. Named Artist of the Week by Power 94 in 2012, featured in Misadventures Magazine (2014), Nightfall (2014), and praised by Nooga.com and The Pulse for debut album ASYLUM (2017). She won The Bar Exam (2017), performing at A3C Festival.
