Wine Over Water: Chattanooga's Premier Food & Wine Festival on the Walnut Street Bridge

Experience the perfect blend of exceptional wines, local cuisine, and the scenic Walnut Street Bridge—one of the world's longest pedestrian bridges—spanning the Tennessee River. This premier food and wine tasting event unfolds right on the bridge.

The 24th annual Wine Over Water Food & Wine Festival returns in 2018 for a four-day celebration from October 4-7, showcasing Chattanooga's vibrant culinary scene with incredible food, brewery tours, yoga brunch, and an abundance of fine wines.

The highlight is Saturday, October 6, from 5-8 p.m., featuring tastings of over 100 wines from around the globe, live music, and dishes from 16 top local restaurants.

Thursday, October 4

  • 7-10 p.m. – WOW Weekend Kick-off Party: Kick off the festivities with Moët champagne, live music by The Million Dolla Man, a live auction, and gourmet fare by Chef Erik Niel of Easy Bistro & Bar. Get tickets here.

Friday, October 5

  • 7-11 p.m. – MLK Beer & Bites: Hop between Bitter Alibi, Oddstory Brewing Company, 2 Sons Kitchen, and Hutton & Smith for craft beers and bites. Hourly brewery tours at Oddstory. Get tickets here.
  • 5:30-8 p.m. – Best Cellars: An exclusive premium wine tasting at The Westin Chattanooga with over 150 wines, silent auction, and live jazz by Robert Crabtree. Get tickets here.

Saturday, October 6

  • 11 a.m.-3 p.m. – Lunch Botanical at The Dwell Hotel: Savor a botanical-themed lunch with herb-, flower-, fruit-, and rosé-infused dishes and cocktails. Get tickets here.
  • 5-8 p.m. – 24th Annual Wine Over Water Food & Wine Festival: Stroll the Walnut Street Bridge tasting hundreds of wines, sampling from over a dozen local restaurants, and enjoying live music amid fall views over the Tennessee River. Get tickets here.

Sunday, October 7
