Myrtle Beach Easter Weekend Events Guide: Egg Hunts, Bunny Breakfasts & Sunrise Services
Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt
Thursday, March 29, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Designed for ages 11-14, this evening hunt requires participants to bring their own flashlight and basket. Held at Riverfront Park (6 Elm Street) in Conway by the Conway Parks and Recreation Department. Free event; no registration needed.
Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at Gordon Biersch
Savor brunch with the Easter Bunny starting at 9 a.m. on March 31 at Gordon Biersch in The Market Common. $10 per person (free for ages 3 and under), including brunch, coffee, soft drinks, juice, or milk. North Myrtle Beach Easter Egg Hunt
The Easter Bunny visits McLean Park on Saturday, March 31, for candy, photos, and hunts divided by age (infants and up). Bring baskets. Additional activities from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Celebrating its 35th year with refreshments from North Strand Optimist Club. Free and open to all at 93 Oak Drive, North Myrtle Beach.
Surfside Beach Easter Egg Hunt and Kid's Fair
Saturday, March 31, at H. Blue Huckabee Complex (499 Spanish Oak Drive, off Glenns Bay Road). Egg hunt at 1 p.m. for first 500 kids ages 10 and under, with prize bags. Kid's Fair follows at 1:30 p.m. until 4 p.m., featuring free train rides, inflatables, face painting, and balloon art. Concessions available; free hot dogs, burgers, and drinks from Surfside Christian Church. Meet the Easter Bunny, a princess, and superhero. Free entry. Eggstravaganza at EdVenture Myrtle Beach
From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, at EdVenture Myrtle Beach (formerly Children's Museum of South Carolina). Meet the Easter Bunny, enjoy indoor egg hunts, crafts, and activities. $5 admission. Located at 2204 North Oak Street, Myrtle Beach. Details: www.cmsckids.org.
Oceanfront Easter Sunrise Services
- Trinity United Methodist Church: Beach service at 17th Avenue South, North Myrtle Beach. Bring flowers and lawn chairs.
- Grand Strand Baptist Church: 6:45 a.m. at Second Avenue Pier, Myrtle Beach, with worship and message.
- Faith Presbyterian Church: At 79th Avenue North, Myrtle Beach. Bring blanket or chair; breakfast buffet follows at church (805 79th Avenue North).
- Garden City Chapel: 6:45 a.m., two miles south of Garden City Pier. Follow signage.
- Shepherd of the Sea Lutheran Church: 6:30 a.m. on beach outside Conch Cafe (1870 North Waccamaw Drive, Murrells Inlet). Pancake breakfast after at church (2637 US-17 Business, Garden City).
