Conway, South Carolina, features one of the South's most enchanting Main Streets during Christmastime. Our family eagerly anticipates annual holiday visits to enjoy its timeless Southern charm. In December, the town hosts the beloved Rivertown Christmas Celebration, a must-visit event blending festive fun and community spirit.

This annual event takes place every Thursday night from 6 to 8 p.m. through December 17. All activities are free and include candlelight shopping, Santa visits, carriage rides, living window displays, and more. Approved by the South Carolina Department of Commerce, the celebration adheres to all recommended CDC guidelines, including social distancing and mask protocols.
