Myrtle Beach Mini Marathon Weekend: Scenic Oceanfront Half Marathon and Festive Events Await

Runners from across the country flock to Myrtle Beach for the Mini Marathon weekend—and it's no wonder why. This surfing-themed half marathon boasts a scenic, flat, and fast course, ideal October weather, and events set in one of America's premier beach destinations. (We're a bit biased!)

The weekend starts with the Coastal 5K and Doggie Dash on Saturday, October 16, at The Market Common. The Myrtle Beach Mini Marathon kicks off Sunday, October 17, at 7 a.m. from 8th Avenue on the Boardwalk, featuring over five miles of oceanfront running before looping back to the finish. New this year: a "Rucking Division" where participants carry weighted backpacks for the 5K or half marathon.

After the race, runners can take a refreshing ocean swim or enjoy the post-race party and beer garden at Plyler Park in downtown Myrtle Beach (beer garden for participants only). Live entertainment on stage at Plyler Park welcomes all spectators. Every year, it's an unforgettable blast, no matter your participation level!
