SeaWorld Orlando Announces 200‑Foot #NothingFaster Roller Coaster for 2016
A new roller coaster is coming to SeaWorld Orlando in 2016.
When you think Orlando’s thrill‑ride lineup is full, SeaWorld® Orlando breaks the mold with a 200‑foot, #NothingFaster coaster slated for 2016. A quick search of the hashtag turns into a frenzy—think “sharknado” vibes—around this highly anticipated attraction.
More specifics will drop in late May, but the announcement underscores SeaWorld’s commitment to leading the theme‑park excitement ladder by adding rides that satisfy thrill‑seekers’ hunger for larger, faster experiences.
SeaWorld first introduced a coaster in 2000 with Kraken: a 149‑foot, floorless marvel that hit 65 mph. In 2009, Manta made its debut as Orlando’s only head‑first, face‑down coaster, mimicking a giant manta ray in the air. Now, the park is set to add another legend in 2016.
Dubbed #NothingFaster, the new coaster will stand 200 feet tall—taller, faster, and longer than any current Orlando attraction—positioning SeaWorld as the frontrunner for the city’s tallest, fastest, and longest roller‑coaster title.
