Orlando City Unveils State‑of‑the‑Art Stadium in Downtown Orlando

Orlando City Soccer Club’s brand‑new downtown stadium is officially open, marking a new chapter for soccer in the city.

During the inaugural home opener against New York City FC, fans celebrated the venue as “a gift from the gods.” With Orlando named the best city in the U.S. for soccer fans by WalletHub in 2016, the new arena reinforces the city’s reputation for passionate fandom.

Rated the #1 MLS stadium by The Guardian, the facility combines cutting‑edge design with fan‑centric features that ensure an unforgettable matchday experience.

Prime Seating for Every Fan

The two‑tiered layout places all 25,500 seats at optimal sightlines, while strategically placed overhead canopies amplify on‑field sound, heightening the collective energy. Though most seats are purple, Section 12 honors the Pulse victims with 49 rainbow‑colored seats across six rows.

Central, Accessible Location

Positioned just off I‑4, the stadium sits amid a cluster of new and upgraded venues—including Amway Center, Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, and Camping World Stadium—strengthening downtown Orlando’s status as a premier entertainment destination.

Elevated Fan Experience

Known as “The Wall,” Orlando City supporters fill the stadium in purple, drums, and chants that electrify every home game, creating a vibrant atmosphere that fans and players alike cherish.

High‑Speed Connectivity

The venue incorporates 583 discreet Wi‑Fi access points integrated into gray panels along handrails, delivering robust, high‑density wireless coverage so fans can share live moments instantly.

Upcoming Schedule

The club will host 17 home matches this season, and the stadium will also welcome the Orlando Pride for their second NWSL season, opening on April 22.
