The Indio International Tamale Festival, presented by Fantasy Springs Resort Casino and Tabasco, is a two-day celebration spotlighting tamales. Beyond exceptional cuisine in Greater Palm Springs, enjoy live music, carnival rides, and unique activities in this desert oasis.

Held the first weekend of December, the 2018 festival runs Saturday, December 1, to Sunday, December 2, opening at 10:00 a.m. daily.

Join the action in Downtown Indio, with entrances on Requa Avenue and Smurr Street.

Festival tip: Avoid parking hassles by using the free shuttle from the nearby Larson Justice Center, running every 15 minutes.
