Four Bridges Art Festival
As spring blooms in Chattanooga, top artists from across the U.S. gather at the First Tennessee Pavilion downtown for the Four Bridges Art Festival (April 20-22), marking its 18th year in 2018. Recognized in 2016 as one of the 'PRIME 50' Fine Art Fairs by Art Fair Sourcebook, this event showcases over 150 creators in paintings, glasswork, pottery, jewelry, textiles, sculpture, and more.
Riverbend Festival
Launched in 1982, the iconic Riverbend Festival (June 8-16) celebrates its 36th year in 2018. Drawing over 350,000 attendees, this eight-day music extravaganza features nearly 100 artists across five stages along the Tennessee River's bend—visible approaching from the east. Enjoy classic rock, country, urban, bluegrass, food, activities, and a massive fireworks finale.
Pops on the River
Ring in Independence Day with the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera (CSO). This free performance features patriotic favorites, ending in a stunning fireworks show. Bring a picnic, blanket, chair, or swimsuit to Coolidge Park on the North Shore. Arrive early for the historic carousel, interactive fountain, and river views.
Southern Brewer's Festival
Marking its 24th year in 2018, the Southern Brewer's Festival is a beloved summer staple. Sample over 100 Southern microbrews alongside live music and food at Ross's Landing on the Tennessee River.
3 Sisters Bluegrass Festival
For over a decade, the 3 Sisters Bluegrass Festival (Oct. 5-6) has delivered premier bluegrass acts to Chattanooga's riverfront. Free admission—bring a picnic and blanket. Full lineup announced in September.
Wine Over Water
A 20+ year tradition, Wine Over Water (Oct. 6) tantalizes with 100+ global wines on the historic Walnut Street Bridge. Pair tastings with chef demos from top Chattanooga spots, live jazz and bluegrass, and special hotel rates.
