For most travelers, entering Bermuda is straightforward and hassle-free. Ensure compliance with these essential requirements for a smooth arrival.

Round-Trip Ticket

All visitors, including children and infants, must present a round-trip ticket, return ticket, or proof of onward travel to a country where they have entry rights.

Pre-Departure Documents

Within 48 hours of departure, all travelers must complete the online Bermuda travel authorization process.

Do I Need a Passport to Enter Bermuda?

Yes, all travelers—adults, children, and infants—must carry a machine-readable passport as proof of citizenship and identity, required by Bermuda Immigration authorities for return or re-entry.

Note: For yachts and crew, review entry requirements for private vessels.

Note: Married women traveling under their married name with maiden name documents should carry a marriage certificate or certified copy.
