Bermuda Travel Essentials: Currency, Time Zones, Electricity & Visitor Tips

Planning your first trip to Bermuda? Discover essential travel basics, including time zones, currency, electricity, telecommunications, and visitor center locations, to ensure a seamless island experience.

Pre-Departure Requirements

All visitors must follow the Bermuda Government's Travel Authorisation protocols. Watch the brief video below for a quick overview of the process.

Zika Virus Update

Bermuda reports no local Zika virus transmission, as the Aedes aegypti mosquito is absent from the island. With one of the world's most robust mosquito control programs, the Bermuda Tourism Authority closely monitors the situation in partnership with local and international health authorities.

Travel to Bermuda remains as safe and straightforward as ever—an ideal destination for meetings, events, or vacations, even for those concerned about Zika.
