Villa Margherita B&B Review: Ideal Stay in Levanto, Gateway to Cinque Terre
Levanto, Italy, is the perfect gateway to Cinque Terre, just minutes from Monterosso, the first village in the region. Like the iconic Cinque Terre towns, it boasts a scenic coastal walking path linking to neighboring destinations.
Nestled amid lush greenery in this vibrant town, Villa Margherita B&B offers a serene escape. Torn between Levanto and Cinque Terre? Read our guide first!
How to Get There
Reaching Villa Margherita B&B is straightforward on foot from Levanto train station. Street signs are limited, but clear B&B markers guide you along the main road. For evening arrivals, pack a flashlight.
Host Federico welcomed us warmly with Cinque Terre train schedules, a Levanto brochure, and luggage assistance. He swiftly showed us to our room—a relief after a long travel day.
Amenities
Our top-floor room featured a private bathroom, tall garden-view windows, strong Wi-Fi, mini-fridge, safe, hairdryer, TV, desk, and bathroom towel rack.

Breakfast was the trip's highlight: cheerful staff crafting custom coffees and teas (mine featured a foam smiley face). The buffet offered meats, cheeses, croissants, rolls, cereal, yogurt, fresh juice, and cookies.

Unwind in the spacious downstairs lounge or garden seating. Pick up local wine, prosciutto, crackers, and cheese for a garden picnic, or stroll 10 minutes to the stunning beach.
