April 2nd: Battle of the Beaches World Autism Awareness Night at the Pelicans. The Myrtle Beach Pelicans (Chicago Cubs affiliate) face the Charleston RiverDogs (New York Yankees affiliate) in an exhibition game. Sponsored by Bee Sharp Professional Training. Gates open at 5:30 p.m., first pitch at 6:30 p.m. Pelicans Stadium, 1251 21st Ave N, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. Tickets at www.championautismnetwork.com.

April 6: Sensory-Friendly Showing of Shazam! at Grand 14 Market Common, 4002 Deville St, Myrtle Beach. Doors open 9:30 a.m., film starts promptly at 10 a.m. (no trailers). $1 drinks and popcorn. Free for CAN cardholders.

April 6: ComePlayWithUs at Barnabas Horse Foundation, 4533 New River Rd, Murrells Inlet, SC. Horseback rides ($5 each, limited to 30), games, and food. Registration required. BYOC. Wear boots or old tennis shoes and jeans.

April 7: Sensory-Friendly Birthday Bowling Bash at Myrtle Beach Bowl, 101 Philip Gray Dr, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579. 12:30-2 p.m. Music low, lights up, space to move. $1 per game and shoes. Food specials and cupcakes from Johnny D's Waffles & Bakery.

April 7: Bunny Cares Sensory-Friendly Easter Bunny Visit at Coastal Grand Mall, 2000 Coastal Grand Cir, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. 9-11 a.m. Calming photos with Easter Bunny for kids with autism and special needs. Registration required.

April 12: Sensory-Friendly Night at the Pelicans, 1251 21st Ave N, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. CAN cardholders get suite access, free kids' activity wristband, specials, and discounted tickets (use promo code CAN19). Gates 6 p.m., game 7 p.m.

April 13: Sensory-Friendly Visit to Ripley's Aquarium, 1110 Celebrity Cir, Myrtle Beach, SC. Lights up, sounds down. $7 admission. Glass-bottom boat: $5.50 (ages 3-11), $10 (12+).

April 13: Sensory-Friendly Easter Egg Hunt at Shepherd of the Sea Lutheran Church, 2637 Hwy 17, Garden City, SC 29576. Egg hunt at 11 a.m., cookie decorating, games, lunch, Easter Bunny visit.

April 20: Surfside Beach Sensory-Friendly Easter Egg Hunt at Passive Park, Surfside Beach, SC. For children with autism and special needs. Starts 10 a.m. sharp.

April 27: Sensory-Friendly Dave & Buster's, 1322 Celebrity Cir, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. Lights up, sounds down. A Moment of Magic guests. $21 includes food and Power Card. Register by noon April 26. Food at 10 a.m.

April 27: Sensory-Friendly Showing of Avengers: Endgame at Grand 14 Market Common, 4002 Deville St, Myrtle Beach. Doors 9:30 a.m., starts 10 a.m. (no trailers). $1 drinks/popcorn. Free for CAN cardholders.

April 29: Sensory-Friendly Fun Warehouse, 2349 Dick Pond Rd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29575. Skating or inflatables with pizza/drink for $10. Add-ons $5 each (laser tag, go-karts, etc.).
