Myrtle Beach Food Truck Festival 2019: Dates, Hours, Food Trucks & Family Fun

Myrtle Beach Food Truck Festival 2019: Dates, Hours, Food Trucks & Family Fun

Spring in the Myrtle Beach area brings mild weather and lower humidity than summer, making it ideal for outdoor events like the annual Myrtle Beach Food Truck Festival. This popular three-day event, hosted by the Myrtle Beach Downtown Redevelopment Corporation and the City of Myrtle Beach, took place from April 26 to 28, 2019. Attendees have raved about the experience from previous years.

Hours were Friday from 6 to 10 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Admission was free, with the festival held in the Oceanfront Boardwalk District at Burroughs and Chapin Pavilion Place between 8th and 9th Avenues North.

With over 50 food trucks, the event draws large crowds. Arriving early is recommended, especially with young children. The Kidz Zone offered games, slides, and bounce houses for family entertainment.

The atmosphere livens up in the late afternoon and evening, featuring beer stations and live music from bands including Sweet Sweet, The Bounty Hunters, Paul Grimshaw Band, Oracle Blue, and Tru Sol. A cornhole tournament kicked off Saturday at 11 a.m. with registration on-site.

Note: Food and drinks were purchased separately. For convenient parking, use the Pavilion Parking Garage at 914 North Kings Highway. Visit MyrtleBeachFoodTruckFestival.com for the full list of participating food trucks.
