Myrtle Beach's 35th Annual Taste of the Town: Premier Food Festival Fundraiser

Myrtle Beach s 35th Annual Taste of the Town: Premier Food Festival Fundraiser

The Grand Strand is renowned for its vibrant food festivals, from Italian feasts and seafood extravaganzas to food truck rallies. Among the most enduring is the annual Taste of the Town, where attendees savor tapas-style samples from Myrtle Beach's top restaurants.

This beloved fall fundraiser supports St. Andrew Catholic School and draws locals and visitors alike. The 35th annual event is set for Tuesday, October 9, 2018, from 4 to 10 p.m. at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, 2102 North Oak Street. Free parking is available across the street, or use the lot behind the center for $5.

Admission is $6 at the door (free for ages 14 and under). Food tickets cost $1 each, with menu items priced from 1 to 5 tickets. Beyond delectable dishes, enjoy a wine and beer garden, food trucks, culinary awards, and live entertainment.

What sets Taste of the Town apart is its strong community spirit. Our family attends yearly, eagerly anticipating the culinary surprises. For details, visit www.totmb.org.
