The annual Smoke on the Beach BBQ is back! Experience the irresistible blend of smoky barbecue aromas and ocean breezes at The Beach. This professional judged competition, proudly sponsored by the Myrtle Beach Shrine Club, unfolds at the iconic Historic Myrtle Beach Pavilion Park on 8th Avenue N. and Ocean Boulevard.

The festivities kick off with the Anything Butt Competition on Friday, April 2nd at 5 p.m., featuring public tastings. Public-voted winners will be revealed on Saturday amid vendors, food trucks, and live performances by Southern Kind for wholesome family fun.

On Saturday, April 3rd, the main BBQ Competition ignites at 9 a.m.! With 14 registered teams competing alongside craft, food, and retail vendors, categories include 1st Place BBQ, Best Rib, People’s Choice Anything Butt, Best Cooking Tent, and Grand Champion. Enjoy team BBQ sandwiches available to the public during and after judging by Southern BBQ Network-sanctioned experts starting at 10 a.m. Local DJ James Moore provides the soundtrack.

Bring your friends and family to savor authentic Southern BBQ and crown the beach's top team!

Proceeds directly support the Myrtle Beach Shrine Club's community initiatives rooted in brotherly love, relief, and truth, including vital aid to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
