Celebrate JFK’s Centenary: Sixth Floor Museum Hosts Exclusive Evening

Kennedy left a lasting impression on our nation. The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, in Downtown Dallas, will join the national celebration of JFK’s centennial year with a thoughtful and moving evening event this month. The museum, visited by thousands annually, is a must‑see during any Dallas trip.

On May 16, the museum will host a special event to discuss JFK: A Vision for America, a book by CNN Presidential Historian Douglas Brinkley and Kennedy’s nephew, Stephen Kennedy Smith. Both authors will be present to mingle with guests afterward.

The program will feature an in‑depth discussion of the book, highlighting Kennedy’s most iconic speeches, handwritten notes, and hundreds of rarely seen photographs. Top historians, political leaders, distinguished writers and artists will provide commentary throughout.

The event begins at 6 p.m. with an opening reception of hors d’oeuvres and drinks, followed by the program and a book signing. Get your tickets here!
