Local talent Shannon Mcanally, known online as ThanxZoe, is among the first works you encounter in the 13,000‑square‑foot space. Her standout piece—a towering mushroom crafted from DVDs, CDs, and vinyl records—reflects light in every direction, embodying the exhibition’s psychedelic spirit.

“That mushroom is my favorite,” Shannon explains. “It emerged from a pile of old vinyl records I repurposed and is a perfect fit for the show’s theme.”

Founders Karen and Michael Bivins—long‑time art collectors turned curators—opened Psychedelic Robot to make art accessible and engaging. “We wanted to break the mold of pretentious galleries and create a welcoming cultural event for all demographics,” they say.
