Psychedelic Robot 2.0 Returns to Dallas: A Vibrant Immersive Art Experience
Psychedelic Robot 2.0 has returned to Dallas, bringing a fresh wave of immersive art and vibrant pop‑up experiences. Located in Uptown’s Crescent Court, the gallery invites visitors to step into a kaleidoscopic world of neon lights, bold colors, and pop‑culture references—perfect for the #PsychedelicRobot Instagram moment.
The exhibit features 21 artists from Dallas, New York, Los Angeles, Paris, and Moscow, ranging from seasoned pioneers like assemblage master Robert Hudson to emerging voices such as the enigmatic Omnibus.

Local talent Shannon Mcanally, known online as ThanxZoe, is among the first works you encounter in the 13,000‑square‑foot space. Her standout piece—a towering mushroom crafted from DVDs, CDs, and vinyl records—reflects light in every direction, embodying the exhibition’s psychedelic spirit.
“That mushroom is my favorite,” Shannon explains. “It emerged from a pile of old vinyl records I repurposed and is a perfect fit for the show’s theme.”

Founders Karen and Michael Bivins—long‑time art collectors turned curators—opened Psychedelic Robot to make art accessible and engaging. “We wanted to break the mold of pretentious galleries and create a welcoming cultural event for all demographics,” they say.

Tickets are $35, with discounts for military, seniors, and children. The gallery is open until September 29: Friday 5–11 p.m., Saturday 4–11 p.m., Sunday 2–6 p.m.
