This collection showcases more than 80 artifacts that illuminate the role of cats and lions in ancient Egyptian mythology, kingship, and everyday life. Highlights include representations of wild and domestic cats, feline deities, burial practices, and luxury items adorned with feline motifs, as well as a brief section on dogs.
After exploring the feline displays, guests can enjoy the museum’s remaining galleries at no additional cost.
