Welcome Back to Crying Eagle!

After Hurricane Laura devastated Southwest Louisiana, Crying Eagle Brewery is thrilled to reopen its doors. It's been a challenging year, but our dedicated team is ready to welcome you with open arms. As a locally owned business, we cherish the unique, creative spirit that sets us apart. Discover what to expect upon your visit and details on our upcoming community support event on October 3.

Two Memorable Hurricane Stories:

1. As Hurricane Laura approached, Marketing Director Krickett Racca heroically rescued Tom Petty, our brewery's beloved cat. Rambunctious at home, he eagerly returned to his brewery domain.

2. Maintenance Supervisor Jim Grindol took up a chainsaw a week before the storm, carving a striking eagle into a nearby stump—now proudly displayed on the property. Miraculously, it survived amid fallen trees. Some might even see it as a symbolic warning to the storm!

This week’s Polaroid takes us to Cambodia! If you followed my March travel itinerary, you’ll know Cambodia wasn’t planned—I should be in Indonesia right now, not in Siem Reap near the iconic temples of Angkor Wat.Travel plans don’t always go as expected. Last week, while checking in for my flight to Bali, I was denied boarding due to my passport’s condition. I was stunned. It had passed scrutiny on four flights in Thailand and five in the Philippines (plus the connecting flight), with no issues
