Just off Route 220 on Miles Hollow Road, the viewing area offers two shelters with panoramic views of a vibrant wetland teeming with over 190 species of resident and migratory birds. Accessible blinds, a linear trail, and ADA-compliant parking enhance the experience. It's an ideal spot to observe wildlife, listen to birdsong and frog choruses, or watch sunset hues dance across Bald Eagle Ridge.
Half a mile away on Route 220, the companion Soaring Eagle Wetland offers grass trails for fishing on Bald Eagle Creek and nature viewing. Upon completion, it will feature an accessible trail and fishing platform, ADA-compliant blinds, a pavilion, restroom, parking, and educational signage—ensuring full accessibility from lot to creek.
