7 Super Shots: Our Standout Entries in Hostel Bookers' Photo Competition
We're thrilled to participate in Hostel Bookers' 7 Super Shots photo competition. Here are our top entries for each category, drawn from our extensive travel experiences.

Havasu Falls in Arizona is one of the few places that has literally taken my breath away. I couldn’t believe such a magical paradise existed, just an 8-hour drive from San Diego. It feels like a fairytale, and it's a destination we'd eagerly revisit again and again.

I'm still amazed I captured this at the San Diego Safari Park. We were captivated by Colobus Monkeys leaping tree to tree, their long hair flowing dramatically. This little one looks like it's praying to the monkey gods after a satisfying scratch.

If this steamy solitude shot doesn't inspire dreams, nothing will. Captured at Black Sand Basin in Yellowstone National Park, I had Scott stand in the sulfurous steam for five minutes to perfect the mood of isolation.

Scott surprised me with this shot at Yuma Prison. The harsh light lends an eerie, contemplative vibe. He's exceptional at spontaneous photos that provoke thought.

Our San Antonio trip was a feast for food lovers. This standout breakfast from Liberty Bar Restaurant showcases the city's vibrant dining scene. Our guide to top eats is coming soon.

This photo sparked hilarious captions as our Photo of the Week. It leaves you wondering what these two ladies were thinking—especially about the 'crazy lady' paying for their portrait.

A tough choice for a National Geographic-style portrait. Our Sadhu in Kathmandu was close, but this one wins with its charismatic averted gaze.
