Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita: Luxurious Private Villas and Impeccable Service – Expert Review
Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita Review
Mauritius's stunning east coast boasts some of the world's most luxurious resorts. As loyal Four Seasons guests with over a decade of global travel experience, we selected the Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita for our first days on the island.
Nestled on an exclusive 11-acre private island, this resort features 123 unique villas, each with private yards and plunge pools offering ocean, garden, or mangrove views. The thoughtful layout ensures utmost privacy and serenity, free from neighboring noise.

Independently, my partner Scott and I each described the resort in one word: warm and welcoming.
Online reviews consistently praise the exceptional service and meticulous attention to detail. Here, it feels like a luxurious home—with gracious staff, gourmet dining, private pools, and breathtaking beaches.

Arrival and Villa Experience at Four Seasons Mauritius
Upon arrival, staff swiftly handled our luggage and escorted us to an open-air lounge overlooking a turquoise lagoon, where we enjoyed refreshing passionfruit and kaffir lime cocktails. A golf buggy then whisked us to our villa—a delightful touch after a long flight, though the compact resort is easily walkable. We even requested buggies for lazy evening rides to dinner.
Four Seasons excels in anticipating needs: mosquito coils on patios, insect repellent in villas, and complimentary sunblock at pools and beaches.

The breakfast at Beau Champ restaurant was a standout. Overlooking vibrant fish-filled waters, it offered made-to-order delights like Madagascar Eggs Benedict and River Prawn Frittata with Vanilla Lobster Bisque, plus a lavish buffet of fresh juices, Indian specialties, pastries, and unlimited Brie.

Water Activities at Four Seasons Mauritius
Beach access and water sports are key for us on tropical getaways. At Four Seasons Mauritius, complimentary non-motorized options abound at Bambou Beach boathouse: kayaks, paddle boats, snorkeling trips, Ile aux Cerfs excursions, glass-bottom boat rides, and Hobie Cat sailing. Scott even tried waterskiing here for the first time!

The Spa at Four Seasons Mauritius
Set in ocean-view villas, the spa features changing areas, massage rooms, showers, and steam rooms. Pre- and post-treatment lemongrass-ginger tea from the spa garden enhances relaxation. The Mauritian Fusion massage delivered deep, restorative bliss.
