Central PA Tasting Trail Debuts Inaugural Oktoberfest at Grange Park on October 16

Join us on October 16 for the Central PA Tasting Trail's first-ever Oktoberfest, featuring live music, food vendors, and craft brews from Tasting Trail members and local breweries in surrounding counties.

Essential details for this must-attend event:

Hosted at historic Grange Park. "Oktoberfest will showcase the stunning beauty of Centre County in fall, while highlighting Pennsylvania products at the Grange," says Celesta Powell, Managing Director for the Tasting Trail. "Enjoy beers from our exceptional Tasting Trail members plus four breweries from nearby counties."

This marks the first time Grange Park hosts an event celebrating PA alcohol producers.

Drink for a good cause. The Tussey Mountain Alpine Racing Team handles parking for a suggested $5 donation, and the Central PA Tasting Trail partners with United Way, sharing 50% of event profits.

A full day of keg tappings, live music, and brew sampling.

The festivities begin with the 5K Beer Run (register here), open to walkers and runners 21+.

Music starts at noon, featuring Hannah Bingam, Biscuit Jam, Ramalama, Wicked Chicken, Alpine Dave Kline and his Mtn Folk Trio, Caledonia, the Donny Burns Duo, and Lowjack.

With your event passport ticket, receive a gift and a mini passport to sample brews from:

  • Shy Bear Brewing
  • JackAss Brewing Co.
  • Juniata Brewing Company
  • Iron Pint Brewing

Sample ciders from Good Intent, Keewaydin, and 814 Cider Works. Sip wines from Seven Mountains, Happy Valley Winery, Mt. Nittany Vineyards, and University Wine Company. Enjoy spirits from Barrel 21 and Big Spring Spirits. (Designated drivers or non-drinkers: Visit the designated driver tent for mocktails and root beer.)

Extend your stay by camping at Grange encampment sites. RV sites are $40 (30-amp service with electric and water). No tents. Gas grills permitted; fires prohibited. Pets welcome on leashes. All sales final. Reserve at 814-380-1893.
