On May 25, Brookgreen Gardens offers a scenic 5K race at 6:30 p.m., winding through the stunning gardens at dusk—an ideal blend of fitness and beauty.
That same day, Surfside Beach hosts a community Memorial Day cookout at the Surfside Beach Pier from 4 to 8 p.m., featuring classic favorites like hamburgers and hot dogs.
The City of Myrtle Beach concludes the weekend with a Memorial Day ceremony at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center on May 26 at 11 a.m., followed by a screening of the documentary “Lions in Blue & Gray: Joshua Chamberlain and Stonewall Jackson” at the Grand 14 Theatre in The Market Common.
