Myrtle Beach Marks 60th Anniversary of Canadian-American Days Festival
The 60th Annual Canadian-American Days Celebration (Can-Am Days) is underway in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This nine-day event runs from Saturday, March 14, through Sunday, March 22, welcoming Canadian and American visitors with exciting events, live concerts, and family-friendly activities along the Grand Strand. A highlight every year: most events are free and open to the public, including beloved performances by the Burlington Teen Tour Band.

Can-Am Days shares a rich history with Myrtle Beach, mirroring the loyalty of our visitors. Launched by the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce in the 1960s as "Canada Days" to draw Canadian families during spring break, it was renamed Canadian-American Days in 1963. Recognized as South Carolina's first international festival, it attracts up to 100,000 Canadian visitors and snowbirds during off-peak season. We cherish our neighbors to the north!
