Walt Disney World Lights Up the Holidays with Fresh Entertainment Highlights

See what Walt Disney World Resort has planned for the 2016 holiday season.

Orlando’s holiday season bursts into color with family‑friendly attractions and festive entertainment.

Walt Disney World® Resort unveils a suite of brand‑new stage shows starring beloved Disney characters, complemented by spectacular fireworks, laser displays, and a world‑first aerial ballet featuring 300 illuminated drones.

Prepare for performances that will leave your holiday stockings in awe and make Walt Disney World sparkle like never before.

Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration at Magic Kingdom® Park

At the heart of Cinderella Castle, a holiday‑themed ensemble brings together classic Disney icons—Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and Pluto—alongside fan favorites from films such as Toy Story and Peter Pan. Set to a mix of iconic holiday songs and original numbers, the show culminates with full‑building projections that transform the castle into a shimmering holiday tableau.

Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios®

When Santa vanishes during a larger‑than‑life, multisensory spectacle, the elite team of elves from Disney’s animated series Prep & Landing must race to rescue him. The performance blends classic holiday tunes with dazzling projections on the Chinese Theatre, synchronized fireworks, and laser light.

Starbright Holidays Show at Disney Springs®

The newly redesigned Disney Springs is now home to a groundbreaking nighttime show: 300 Intel Shooting Star quadcopters perform a choreographed ballet of light, forming floating shapes such as a rotating Christmas tree and a soaring dove. Viewers can enjoy the display along the entire waterfront, with prime spots between Bongos Cuban Café and Wolfgang Puck on the west side.

Disney Springs continues to celebrate the season with fresh decorations, unique performances, and an array of exclusive gift shops. This marks the first Christmas in the new shopping, dining, and entertainment destination, making it the ultimate holiday destination.
