Animal Trek at Discovery Cove

Animal Trek is a 90‑minute, behind‑the‑scenes tour led by Discovery Cove’s resident animal experts. Guests enjoy a private trek through Explorer’s Aviary, where they can feed and handle exotic birds, and a special viewing of the park’s playful otters at Freshwater Oasis.

You’ll also meet two of the resort’s most beloved small animals—an anteater and a sloth—while learning about the dangers of illegal exotic pet trade, bird longevity, and the Species Survival Plan that all SeaWorld parks champion.

Available as a regular‑admission upgrade starting at $79 per person, the tours run twice daily. Participants must be at least 6 years old, and an adult must accompany guests ages 6 to 13.

Relaxation at the Oasis Spa

Indulge in a 25‑minute Relaxation Massage in the Oasis Spa’s cabana overlooking the tranquil waters of Freshwater Oasis. The licensed therapist uses animal‑friendly jojoba oil that matches human skin’s pH and is non‑allergenic.

Available to guests 18 and older on a first‑come, first‑served basis, the massage sessions run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Starting at $59 as an upgrade to regular admission, each session lasts about 25 minutes, and guests can book consecutive slots for extended serenity.

For added comfort, Discovery Cove now offers brand‑new daybeds—priced at $79 and accommodating up to four people. These loungers sit beside the resort’s private cabanas, which feature tables, chairs, an overhead fan, a private locker, fresh towels, a stocked refrigerator, and a dedicated host.

With a daily capacity of 1,300 guests, Discovery Cove delivers a level of exclusivity that’s hard to find elsewhere. The base package lets you roam a tropical paradise while interacting with tropical fish, exotic birds, rays, otters, and marmosets. Optional upgrades include the Dolphin Lagoon encounter—an unforgettable one‑on‑one session with a playful dolphin.
