Orlando's Ultimate Summer Cocktail Guide: Sip, Savor, and Explore

When you’re ready to pause the excitement, unwind with refreshing summer cocktails in Orlando (ICEBAR Orlando pictured).

Orlando buzzes with new openings this summer, yet a pause with a perfectly crafted drink can be the best way to recharge between adventures. From elegant martinis to tropical delights, here are the cocktails that will keep you cool and satisfied.

Please note: Depending on the timing of your visit, some experiences may be temporarily modified or closed. Learn more about healthy travel and what’s open in Orlando, and check with your favorite venues for their current status.

Summer Cocktails at Walt Disney World® Resort

Your Orlando cocktail journey begins at Disney Springs®, the resort’s expansive dining, shopping and entertainment district. (Travel tip: Admission and parking are always free!) One of Disney Springs’ newest must‑visits for cocktail lovers is The Edison, where The Clock Strikes Orange welcomes summer with a mix of Hendrick’s Gin, Aperol, lemon juice, simple syrup and an absinthe wash.

Nearby, Paddlefish offers a fresh take on a classic with Not Everyone’s Margarita. Served in a glass rimmed with black salt and garnished with skewered blackberry and jalapeño, it blends Nuestra Sloedad Mezcal, tequila, Crème de Mure and ripe lemon sour.

Next, indulge in a Caipirinha from Paradiso 37. This drink blends Cachaça, the famed Brazilian spirit distilled from fermented sugarcane juice, with lime wedges and sugar. It arrives in four flavors: classic, strawberry, pineapple and mango.

At Planet Hollywood’s Stargazers Bar, enjoy live music and a Cosmic Colada, featuring Malibu Coconut Rum, Jim Beam Kentucky Fire and coconut purée. Sweet and tropical, it’s the perfect vacation concoction.

For an Irish‑twisted summer cocktail, head to Raglan Road’s P.J.’s Poison, named after Gunpowder Irish Gin founder P.J. Rigney. The libation muddles orange, rhubarb bitters, lemon juice, orange whiskey marmalade and Fever Tree Tonic, finished with an orange twist.

Start your summer day with an icy Bloody Mary at Phins, located at Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort near Disney Springs. Dubbed Proud Marys, these creations collaborate with top resort restaurants and include the Zoo Mary (with Todd English’s bluezoo), Maria Italiana (with Il Mulino New York Trattoria), Dragon Mary (with Kimonos) and Hail Mary (with Shula’s Steak House).

Summer Cocktails on Restaurant Row and International Drive

Restaurant Row on International Drive offers a dynamic mix of eateries and nightlife. It’s an ideal spot to relax and enjoy a summer cocktail.

One of Orlando’s standout speakeasies is Pharmacy on Restaurant Row. Their Papa Oaxaca—featuring mezcal, grapefruit juice, lime juice and a chili pepper lollipop—delivers a spicy, playful drink.

On International Drive itself, no venue serves colder drinks than ICEBAR Orlando, where every beverage arrives in a glass carved from ice. The venue’s walls, seats and fixtures are all ice‑made, keeping you frosty no matter the temperature.

Mango’s Tropical Cafe on International Drive brings tropical heat and plenty of cool cocktails. Their Tropical Lemonades pair fruit flavors with a range of rums, guaranteed to keep you dancing.

Summer Cocktails in Downtown Orlando

Enjoy cocktails in a metropolitan setting by visiting downtown Orlando. Stop by DoveCote Restaurant and order the signature Dove 75. Butterfly pea flower gives this gin‑based drink a natural purple hue, while orange oil sugar, lemon and champagne add depth.

For a classic summer favorite, the Mint Julep, The Courtesy offers an intimate speakeasy experience with specialty cocktails.

On the second floor of the Historic Rose Building, The Woods serves the Trapped Under Ice cocktail this summer—Nolet’s Gin, ginger beer, peach liqueur and lemon create a refreshing, icy profile.
