Dallas Drag Queens Shine on RuPaul's Drag Race Season 9, Now Aired on VH1

RuPaul's Drag Race, now in its ninth season, continues to gain momentum as an unstoppable cultural phenomenon. Once only available on Logo TV and streaming services like iTunes, the show will now air on VH1 starting Friday, March 24 at 7:00 p.m.

During the first eight seasons and two All‑Stars competitions, three North Texas queens—Shangela Laquifa Wadley, Kennedy Davenport, and Alyssa Edwards—graced the runway, earning global fan acclaim beyond their Dallas zip codes.

These talented performers frequently perform in Dallas, especially at the city’s premiere drag venue, The Rose Room at Station 4. Even if you miss one of these celebrated divas, a new, undiscovered queen will soon appear on a future season.

For extra drag excitement, several favorites from RuPaul's Drag Race will headline the House of Blues on March 31 for Haters Roast – The Shady Tour.

Who knows? Alyssa, Kennedy, or Shangela might just be seated beside you in the audience or make a surprise appearance on stage!
