Celebrate Pride Month in Dallas: Top Events and Highlights
Pride weekend is fast approaching in Dallas! The city offers a vibrant lineup of events, from the iconic Dallas Pride festival to local celebrations in North Dallas. Whether you’re new to the city or a long‑time resident, these five must‑do activities will help you kick off Pride Month in style.
Dallas Pride
Dallas Pride returns on June 4–5 at the Fair Park Coliseum, aiming to raise awareness and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community. This year, the event features local and regional talent, music, and more—without a parade. For those who prefer a quieter experience, the festivities will be live‑streamed on DallasPride.org starting at 7:30 p.m.
Northaven Celebration
North Dallas residents can join the 2nd Annual Northaven Pride Parade hosted by Northaven United Methodist Church on June 5 at 4 p.m. After the parade, gather for a picnic in the south parking lot—bring chairs and decorate your car. You can also watch Dallas Pride live at the Fair Park Band Shell and join the community online.
Sue Ellen’s
On June 4, Sue Ellen’s will reopen its doors. This historic venue is the oldest lesbian bar in the United States and one of only ten still operating. Experience the familiar warmth, music, and community spirit—while adhering to updated safety measures.
Lorenzo Hotel
Kick off Pride Weekend on June 4 with a special party at the Lorenzo Hotel. Enjoy signature Pride cocktails, photo ops, and giveaways—free for both guests and the public. Explore the hotel’s Tina Turner‑named suite and discover art honoring the legendary singer.
Reclaiming My Time
On Saturday, June 5, head to club Elm & Pearl for Crystal Queer Riot’s ultimate pride dance party. Dance the night away with music and queer activities curated by Angel and Don Gentry of the Sonic Soul Tribe. The event starts at 10 p.m. and is 21+.
