Dallas’s Top St. Patrick’s Day Spots: Pubs, Brews, and Irish Eats

Dallas residents can still celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in style, even though the annual parade was cancelled. The city’s Irish pubs, breweries, and restaurants are hosting lively parties, craft beers, and classic Irish dishes.

Harwood Arms
2850 N. Harwood St.

Dallas’s Top St. Patrick’s Day Spots: Pubs, Brews, and Irish Eats

Opened in December 2020, Harwood Arms offers a European‑styled cobblestone alley, dark‑wood panels, and a full Irish menu. On March 17 it will kick off its first St. Patrick’s Day Pub Party at noon. Guests can enjoy Guinness, Irish whiskey, and fish & chips while watching soccer on the big screen. The 4,000‑square‑foot venue also features an outdoor patio that allows for comfortable social distancing.

Oak Highlands Brewery
10484 Brockwood Rd.

Oak Highlands will transform its 3,000‑square‑foot taproom into a St. Patrick’s Day bash on Saturday, March 13. The celebration begins at noon with crawfish and shrimp boils, followed by shuffleboard, cornhole, ping‑pong, and foosball. At 7 p.m. Grammy‑winning band Brave Combo will play a mix of salsa, polka, and zydeco, creating a festive atmosphere even if the beer lineup leans more German and American.

Old Monk
2847 N. Henderson Ave.

Dallas’s Top St. Patrick’s Day Spots: Pubs, Brews, and Irish Eats

Old Monk is a British‑style pub boasting draft selections from England, Ireland, Germany, and Belgium, plus nearly 70 bottled beers worldwide. Its Irish whiskey collection, curated by a Dublin‑born owner, pairs perfectly with corned beef & cabbage, Irish reubens, beef stew, and bread pudding. For non‑Irish fare, the cheeseburger is a crowd‑pleaser—just add a Guinness for authentic vibes.

Dubliner
2818 Greenville Ave.

As Dallas’s oldest Irish bar, Dubliner sits on Lower Greenville and lives up to its motto, “where bad decisions lead to good times.” Although the parade crowd may be smaller, the venue will be packed with green‑clad patrons and plenty of Guinness. The owner prides himself on serving the city’s best draught Guinness.

The Irishman Pub
18101 Preston Rd.

The Irishman is a hotspot for watching soccer, rugby, and other international sports. While its menu isn’t all‑Irish, it offers dishes like potato‑leek soup and shepherd’s pie amid classic American bar fare. Don’t miss the playful Mini Mac & Cheese Bacon Donuts.

Blackfriar Pub
2621 McKinney Ave.

For an old‑fashioned St. Patrick’s Day experience, head to Blackfriar Pub in Uptown. On Saturday, March 13, the historic house turned pub will host an all‑day party featuring green beer, green jelly shots, Irish Car Bombs, DJs, and plenty of Bangers and Mash. Arrive early to secure a spot on the front‑yard beer garden deck and enjoy a frozen Irish coffee while the crowd searches for luck in all the wrong places.
