What does “Love Local” mean to you?

"When it comes to purchasing local goods or dining at local restaurants, these are the things that help create the identity of your community. As a business, we thrive on the local community.”—Brandon Weimer, Owner/Founder, Brandini Toffee

In 2006, Brandon Weimer and a family friend started selling homemade toffee to fund a class trip to Italy. Their buttery blend of sugar, dark chocolate, and fresh roasted almonds was an instant hit, exceeding their goals and birthing Brandini Toffee—a handcrafted candy sensation.

This family-owned Greater Palm Springs shop offers a simple yet delightful range of toffee-inspired treats, from popcorn to ice cream. Beloved by locals, visitors, and celebrities, they've graced The Martha Stewart Show, Oprah's O List, and won the gold sofi Award—the only toffee shop to do so. Using only premium, preservative-free ingredients, they now operate multiple storefronts with worldwide shipping.

“I like to think, based on customer feedback, that we make the perfect gift for those you care about—and for yourself,” Weimer says. Elegantly packaged and irresistibly tasty, start with the classic Almond Toffee if you're new to their gourmet delights.

Options abound: toffee popcorn, crumbles, milkshakes. Sweet tooth calling? Tour the Rancho Mirage factory for a behind-the-scenes peek.

For Weimer, a Greater Palm Springs native, toffee is an “ outlet of creativity.” Starting with a website and booths at Palm Springs VillageFest and College of the Desert Street Fair, community support has fueled their growth from artisan roots to mass appeal.

“There's an unlimited number of chain stores, but the local community is everything,” he says. “We're fortunate to have started here in Greater Palm Springs.”
