What does “Love Local” mean to you?

Supporting local businesses is crucial, especially when residents and small businesses uplift each other. In our view, "Love Local" is a two-way equation.

Serving fresh farm-to-table ingredients, signature cocktails, and a rotating selection of craft beers in a casual, hip atmosphere in the heart of Old Town La Quinta, RD RNNR has become a local favorite since opening as a Craft American restaurant in November 2019.

RD RNNR's success stems from the dedication of owners Chris and Anita Chmielak, who bring years of restaurant experience and a vision for an innovative dining experience in Greater Palm Springs. Their focus: exceptional service, diverse flavors, and putting customers first.

“Chris built a stellar reputation with his attention to detail and high service standards,” Anita shares. Longtime Coachella Valley residents (Chris since 1997 from New Jersey; Anita since 2010 from Las Vegas), they've worked in the industry for over 20 years. Inspired, they created a restaurant prioritizing service, quality food, and guest satisfaction.

“We cater to locals through our robust loyalty program and high-energy vibe unlike anything else in the east valley,” Chris says. “Our menu suits everyone, with great music, upbeat atmosphere, and genuine, personality-driven service.”

During the COVID-19 pandemic starting March 2020, RD RNNR stepped up: delivering over 1,500 fundraised meals to frontline healthcare workers and responders, plus more than 27,000 meals to seniors and high-risk residents via California's "GREAT PLATES" program.

“We're deeply grateful for the local support, especially during our first year and the pandemic,” Chris notes. “Residents have embraced our community efforts.”

A true labor of local love.
